ABOUT US
Our Club was formed in July 1968 as the Rotary Club of Croydon South and has thrived ever since. From 1st July 2017 we have changed the Club name to Sanderstead and Selsdon. We are part of a large charity, Rotary International which was established in Chicago in 1905 by Paul Harris a lawyer. There are now thousands of Rotary Clubs spread across the world.
We provide support for young and mature alike within our community. Every year we run a range of events both fundraising and service based which we enjoy enormously. We are a charity and so raise funds for other charities and to allow our club to provide events and support to those in need locally, nationally and internationally.
Most folks know Rotary for Father Christmas & the door to door collections in December which allow us to bring Santa right to your home, we so enjoy every visit to children in the local area. We also provide Santa to a local garden centre,
Christmas is a great time for us and our families and from what we understand you love it to.
Rotary is about so much more, fun, fellowship, service & enjoyment. All of our members bring skills from their professional life to the table and each help to make our events happen & make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate. If you would like to offer your time & skills to Rotary then please contact us and come along.

Meet the Club Officers
President Cynthia Oteng
Paul Hurst
1st Vice President
Cynthia joined the Club in 2019 & is has been the International & Foundation Chairman overseeing support for all matters International. Cynthia works in the health sector.
Paul joined the club in 2015 & has held office every since, he will be our President in July 2024. Paul was a Professional Engineer before retiring.
Tim Parr
2nd Vice President & Treasureer
Tim joined the Club in 2008, was President in 2010/11 & again in 2019/20, plus continuing in his role as Treasurer. Tim was the Area Assistant Governor in 2011/12. Tim is a Lead Developer with over twenty years teaching experience.
Wendy A Parr Secretary
Wendy joined the Club in 1995, was President in 2000/01 & 2007/08. A resident outside the area of the Club in Caterham on the Hill and is a HR & Training Consultant in partnership for twenty eight years.
